The Gatekeeper

The Gatekeeper embodies the idea of an object as seer — a source of prophecy and wisdom. Its animal-like form is a hybrid of sorts, with a bulbous head and a body that serves as a vessel for insights drawn from diverse sources: the Litany of Fear from Frank Herbert’s Dune, the philosophy of Alan Watts, and the ancient wisdom of Lao Tzu.
