Celtic Inspired Horse

This small stylised sculpture is inspired by an ancient Celtic bronze horse figurine. Horses were immense symbols of status, energy and power to the Celtic people.

The piece is handformed and finnished with paper clay. The surface is painted and polished with textures and markings defined with a dark wax lending the piece an aged finish.
